PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is a four-acre facility, located approximately 6.5 km south of Sitka in Southeast Alaska, which provides a parking lot, picnic tables, rest rooms and a wooden waterfront deck for viewing the whales that congregate in the area of Sitka Sound at least twice a year.
