PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This acquisition preserves the abandoned Sacramento Northern Railroad right-of-way between M and U streets in Rio Linda and is designated in the current and draft County General Plan as a Transportation Corridor. Acquisition will complete public ownership of the entire corridor within the County and allow extension of the existing Class I bikeway and multi-mode uses.
