PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Maxwell Bikepath and Pedestrian Path will improve the safety of bicyclist and pedestrians traveling on the Maxwell Road between Highway 99W and the local grocery store. It will assist in separating bicyclists from pedestrians by creating a distinct sidewalk, bounded by a curb, on which people can walk. Bicycle travel will be safer due to the widening of the road which will occur as part of the curb, gutter, and sidewalk construction which will allow bicyclists to travel out of the main traffic lane occupied by automobiles. The construction of this project will be in conformance with the County's accepted bikeway plan.
