Sacramento Northern Railroad Bikeway Landscape Enhancements

LOCATION: Sacramento, California

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The proposed project is located in North Sacramento along an abandoned railroad right-of-way, which was converted to a commuter bikeway in the late 1970s. This project will construct post fencing along both sides of a 4-mile length of trail (8 miles of fencing) and landscaping (including irrigation, drainage, turf and treeplanting) of a 30 to 70 foot strip on both sides of the bikeway (approximately 4 miles each) (8 miles of landscaping).
