LOCATION: Georgetown, Colorado

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Georgetown Loop Railroad is located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, approximately 47 miles west of Denver and owned by the Colorado Historical Society. A girder turntable bridge on the railroad was replaced with a truss bridge. Stone abutments were restored to their original appearance, and the superstructure was fabricated based on historic photographs.
