Colorado Roadside Interpretive Program

LOCATION: (Statewide), Colorado

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A new generation of roadside interpretive markers will replace the old bronze and wooden ones at scenic overlooks, rest areas, and visitor centers along Colorado's highways. These markers, constructed of embedded fiberglass, will be placed at 51 locations statewide. The exhibits have historical, natural, and regional information of use to Colorado's highway travelers.
