PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The goal of this project was to improve the streetscapes in the Douglas Downtown Historic District, which covers three blocks and six intersections. U.S. Rte.441 and Georgia Rte.'s 31 and 32 run through the district and along Main Street. The street improvements provide a safe and inviting environment for pedestrians.
